  • All image processing is 100% on-device: Decoding, aspect ratio cropping, canvas rasterization, and EXIF segment injection take place entirely inside your device's web browser memory.
  • Zero cloud transmission: Your photos are NEVER transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third-party computing infrastructure.
  • Zero image storage: Because photos remain client-side, we have no database, gallery, or cache of user-submitted images.

2. Automatic Location & GPS Stripping

Original photos taken with modern smartphones often contain precise GPS coordinates (latitude, longitude, altitude) in their EXIF metadata. During the formatting process, rayBEN systematically clears and removes the GPS IFD table from your output file, preventing accidental location disclosure when you share on social media.

3. Analytics & Usage Metrics

To maintain service stability, optimize user experience, and monitor platform errors, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Google Analytics collects aggregated, non-personally identifiable technical information such as:

  • Browser type, operating system, and general device category (mobile/desktop).
  • Approximate geographical region (country and city level).
  • Session metrics, conversion initiation counts, and pageview statistics.

Google Analytics does NOT have access to the contents, filenames, or images processed in your browser. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
